10 Free Learning Resources for Entrepreneurs
You’re never too old to learn new things, right? With the start of school just around the corner, we’ve pulled together some helpful learning resources for small business owners and entrepreneurs to check out. So hit the books, or in some cases your laptop, and take a few minutes to learn a new skill that can benefit you both personally and professionally.
Free Online Learning Resources:
Open Culture– With 150 different courses to choose from, if you’re looking for a broad range of different resources, from audio books to online courses, this site should do the trick.
Coursera- Millions of people use Coursera because of the many niche classes offered. You can find entrepreneurship focused courses here.
edX- Over 500 courses are available on this site, with many different business topics to choose from.
MIT OpenCourseWare- You can take actual classes from MIT through this website. They’ve also created a page specifically for entrepreneurs, recommending the best courses to complete.
Academic Earth- This site also provides entrepreneur focused classes, as well as a mix of other lectures and courses on business topics.
LearnVest- Offering a handful of financial classes for free, LearnVest is a great resource if you’re interested in learning more about investing or budgeting.
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania- With over 90 different business related videos broken up into categories on this site, there’s certainly lots of good information for entrepreneurs.
Alison- This site offers courses on a multitude of different topics, but the Business & Enterprise Skills page is probably the most relevant for entrepreneurs.
Khan Academy- Geared more towards younger users, for broader topics such as taxes or accounting, Khan Academy still remains a great resource for entrepreneurs.
IASourceLink Webinar Archive- Remember you can find all of our business webinars with topics such as leadership, financing, health care, taxes, and technology on our archive. You can also search for them on Pathways, as well as other videos like TED Talks.
