The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) announced today that Iowa’s business climate will be showcased in a 24-page editorial supplement that will be featured in Hemispheres, the onboard magazine of United Airlines. The special section will be available to approximately 12 million passengers during the month of April.
“Through the end of April, millions of air travelers all over the world will be reading about Iowa, our stellar companies, dynamic business environment and diverse economy,” said IEDA director Debi Durham. “Iowa truly is a great place to invest or relocate, and this platform is the perfect avenue to share Iowa’s success stories.”
The special, in-depth section provides an overview of Iowa and highlights Iowa products and innovations that are having a global impact. Additionally, the feature explains how Iowa excels in the advanced manufacturing, biosciences and financial services sectors.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to showcase the state’s business diversity and key attractions,” said Director Durham. “The exposure that Iowa’s business climate will receive because of this extensive editorial coverage is priceless, and we’re proud to have our state featured in this month’s edition.”
United Airlines estimates Hemispheres reaches more than 12 million passengers per month, with 87 percent of readers having a college education and 56 percent with professional/managerial occupations.
