Iowa Income Tax Withholding & Unemployment Insurance

Iowa Income Tax Withholding & Unemployment Insurance

Businesses with employees have a number of responsibilities related to those employees. Among their responsibilities are reporting and remitting Iowa income tax withholding and Iowa unemployment insurance.

To assist these businesses in learning more about the requirements for withholding and unemployment, the Iowa Department of Revenue and Iowa Workforce Development are working together to present a free online webinar. These agencies have partnered with MyEntre.Net to provide free tax webinars to small business owners on IASourceLink.

This joint webinar will be held on Wednesday, November 12th from noon to 1;00pm central time. The presentation will cover Iowa withholding and unemployment basics for employers. The presenters for this webinar are Terry O’Neill of the Iowa Department of Revenue and Michael Wilkinson of Iowa Workforce Development. Rob Williams of the University of Northern Iowa serves as moderator. For more information, to register, or to watch previously recorded webinars please visit www.IowaTaxWebinars.com.

In addition, the Department encourages businesses to stay updated on their Iowa withholding tax responsibilities by using the following resources:
