Back to School…for Business Owners
With many kids returning to school this week, we thought it might be helpful to pull together some learning resources for small business owners and entrepreneurs to check out too. We promise not to be as controversial as JCPenny on this topic.
- From Open Culture, here is a list of 150 free online business courses (many of them videos)
- MIT OpenCourseWare has a great variety of business courses, especially in the Sloan School of Management area
- Academic Earth has curated a very nice collection of 208 niche business courses
- MyEntre.Net at the University of Northern Iowa has dozens of free online business webinars available for your viewing pleasure
- The Business & Enterprise Skills section of Alison is a great resource to also check out
- This (very specific) course on Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital provided by Stanford via iTunes is outstanding
- The Open Education Database is a nice search engine for free online classes, check out this result page for business related content
- While not abundant with business courses, Khan Academy does have many other free lessons from math to humanities
Do you regularly engage in online learning? Let us know your favorite sites (or what you think of the above) in the comments section!
