Local Business School: Master Your Small Business Marketing

$295 – $355Local Business School aims to teach attendees the ropes of today’s most effective marketing strategies that they can use to grow their local business in Greater Des Moines (DSM) and throughout Iowa. From building a strong social media strategy to creating a winning website, the program brings in subject matter experts from across the region to give attendees the best tools to leverage in 2024 and beyond. Local Business School was started by Emily Steele, Des Moines-based entrepreneur.
Classes will take place on Mondays from 2 – 3:30 p.m. and 4 – 5:30 p.m. Series topics include:
- Intro to Branding & Marketing
- How to Find your Target Market
- Mastering your Website
- Social Media for your Business
- Master your Email Marketing
- How to Develop your Content
- SEO Strategy
- Making a Marketing Budget
- Increasing Your Sales with Google Tools
- Make Better Business Decisions with Google Analytics
- Creating a Marketing Funnel
- Master Your Pitch
In addition to the virtual learning sessions, participants will also receive group coaching sessions and access to individual support during office hours.
Coaching calls will be offered biweekly on Thursdays from 3 – 5 p.m. and office hours will be available on Fridays by request from 2 – 4 p.m.
