The 2024 FPI marks the 30th year that the Section has hosted this prestigious event. For 30 years, the Section has established and upheld a time-honored tradition of presenting panels that feature lively discussion by expert panelists, covering the gamut of significant federal procurement developments. This year’s panels will address a variety of emerging issues in the government contract arena with a specific focus on National Security in public procurement, including:

These sessions offer valuable insights for practitioners specializing in every aspect of the federal procurement world.
This year, we will again start FPI with our Section Council Meeting on Wednesday afternoon. The Section Council will meet in open session to discuss Section business and action and information on legislation, regulations, and other current issues important to government contracts practitioners. We hope to build on the success of last year’s format change and look forward to your joining and actively participating in the Council Meeting. The more of us who attend and contribute, the more we can all grow and learn together.
As is tradition, FPI also will include multiple opportunities to gather with colleagues old and new from across the country. FPI will feature two evening receptions, our popular “No-Host” lunch and dinners, and a Section Fellows’ Dinner. These formal and informal gatherings are highlights of FPI each year and we hope you will take advantage of them.
