We will review typical office/retail leases and explain and discuss many of the terms and conditions that are generally included in a commercial lease. Understanding these terms will allow you to better understand the impact of contracts and leases on your costs of doing business.

​The Facilitator for this event is Brian M. Dougherty. Brian is a partner in the litigation group of Goldstine, Skrodski, Russian, Nemec and Hoff, LTD located in Burr Ridge, Illinois. His Practice area primarily includes representing employers, and employees in employment disputes arising under state and federal law as well as business torts, and general business related litigation. He also counsels businesses on best practices under labor and employment law. Brian is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association’s Labor Employment Section. He is a former Editor-In-Chief of the DCBA Brief, the Journal of DuPage County Bar Association. He was the recipient of the DuPage County Bar Association’s Board of Directors Award in 2019 for his work as Editor-In-Chief . Brian has been published numerous times by the DuPage County Bar Association as well as the Illinois Bar Association.
