Hawkeye Community College's Business and Community Education (BCE) Department offers classes and training programs appealing to individuals in the community as well as businesses. Learner's in Hawkeye's BCE programs range from un/underemployed to employed and retired and may receive training in a single class up to a program of classes with some programs leading into credit programs. Businesses find training their workforce appealing through BCE because class content can be customized to address their individual business needs.
BCE also administrate training funding programs available to businesses in designated industries for New Jobs Training (260E); Existing Workforce Training (260F); and Accelerated Career Education (260G). Other programs available to individuals pursuing short term training may qualify for Gap or PACE program assistance. Send us an email or give us a call!
