MIDAS provides planning, grant writing, administration, and transportation services to our member governments, and public transit service for the region.
About
MIDAS Council of Governments covers a six county region: Calhoun, Hamilton, Humboldt, Pocahontas, Webster, and Wright. We serve our member governments by providing codification, comprehensive plans preparation, Land Use Plan Preparation, Mitigation Plan preparation, writing personnel manuals, preparing TIF plans, preparing urban renewal plans, and zoning ordnances. We write and administer a wide variety of grants including CDBG, USDA IRP, USDA RBOG, USDA IRP, and USDA RBEG. We perform the regions transportation planning and we operate the City of Fort Dodge and the Regional Public Transit systems.Services Provided
