Valley Growth Fund I, Inc. (CVGFI) is the first and currently the only 501(c)(3)economic development corporation in the State of Iowa. It was created to help new and existing businesses overcome challenges by providing innovative financing solutions and professional technical expertise. The corporate office is located in Waterloo IA, but the program can be used by any business in the US. The corporation’s stated purpose is to: — increase the availability of funds to new and existing small businesses; — encourage and promote an increase in business activity through new business startups, business expansion, and business retention projects; and — create a revolving loan fund to accomplish the foregoing stated purposes. CVGFI was created to coordinate a community-based approach in terms of garnering the capital and providing technical resources needed outside the public sector.Services Provided
