1 Million Cups was developed as a simple way to engage entrepreneurs and communities around the world. Each week, we offer a local entrepreneur an opportunity to give a six-minute presentation to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs. Then, as a community, we give them valuable feedback

Coffee with entrepreneurs and creatives in the Iowa City area. Meet other entrepreneurs and creatives, hear announcements on upcoming startup and creative events, and talk about startup and tech news. What better way could there be to start your Wednesday?

Following Iowa City Open Coffee, around the block at MidWestOne Bank, is 1 Million Cups. 1 Million Cups is a start-up community building event launched by the Kauffman Foundation. The events are held across the nation on Wednesdays from 9 am to 10 am and feature 1-2 presentations by local start-ups to a public audience.

If you are new to the area we invite you to join us, or if you know someone new to the Iowa City area please attend and bring them with you. Need a Wingman? Check out iccreatives.com for more information on connecting with other creatives in the corridor.
