The Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEMD) will share its new online form for vendors interested in registering with HSEMD to become part of their emergency response database. Although no purchase is guaranteed, registration though this form will bring your information to the attention of staff in the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) who may need to purchase and deploy your product/service in response to an emergency. The goal of the database is to quickly connect responders and vendors so that the needed items can be purchased and delivered in a more efficient manner. Ms. Cate Brehmer, Purchasing Agent, will give an overview of HSEMD's procurement procedures and how the form will be used in the event of an emergency.
