Gregg Barcus has 25+ years’ experience in the entrepreneurial community in Iowa, and currently
teaches entrepreneurship as a lecturer for the University of Iowa, including serving as the lead instructor
for the Des Moines Venture School. The Venture School curriculum incorporates a vigorous pitch deck
component that has allowed graduates to raise money, engage partners and win pitch competitions. He
will share the basic principles – and subtle nuances – of a great pitch.
