Business Checking Accounts that pay?

If you haven’t read the fine print on Dodd-Frank (and I don’t know anyone that has – including myself) - you may have missed a nice little sweetener for small business.

When was the last time you received an unsolicited refund?

Typically, determining customer satisfaction with a technology service occurs after the point of sale. For instance, I order a product or service online and receive an e-mail receipt which includes a feedback survey link which I can then choose to complete. This is in contrast to when I walk into a retail location and interact with the business owner, who can gauge my satisfaction and act accordingly during the entire sale process. Amazon Video on Demand has taken the next step with what may be possible utilizing technology to ensure customer satisfaction from point of sale and during delivery.

Merchant Services - Ah, those hidden fees

I had intended to write about the wonderful world of credit card fees a few weeks back as I was getting things together for the store, but I havent exactly found time for it. At some point, I intend to put something a bit more full blown together on how it all works, but for now I just want to get a few words of advice out to you.

Top of the mind- First to purchase

Sure we know teenagers are carrying one, but did you know that almost 75% of adults now carry cell phones? Personally, I think these statistics are even higher- do you know of anyone who does not have a cell phone (if you do PLEASE comment and tell us about it- why they don’t they carry!). For everyone out there who is thinking about how Facebook or Twitter may increase sales- don’t you dare overlook the power of the personal cell phone!
