Manufacturing Day Events Near You
Tomorrow is Manufacturing Day! To celebrate, businesses, chambers, economic development groups and associations are opening their doors and hosting events, presentations and tours to highlight and further the advancements of the Iowa manufacturing industry.
Over 120 events taking place in all corners and regions of Iowa are taking place throughout the month. Some highlights for our manufacturing friends:

Iowa Lean Consortium is hosting a conference on October 12-13 in Cedar Rapid for private and public business leaders to discuss collaboration and innovation using Lean continuous improvement principles and methods to improve organizations effectiveness.

From October 17-21, join the Advancing the Future, a Tour of Corridor Manufacturers. Manufacturers in Iowa’s Creative Corridor will open their doors to help the public understand what’s created here in our own backyard.
The Iowa Wind Energy Association is hosting a reception on October 28. On the docket for discussing include how to become an alternative power gen facility, workforce development, national perspective, emerging technology innovations, and more.
