Counting Down Until Launch Day
The culmination of Iowa Startup Accelerator’s first year will be showcased on November 6th at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Cedar Rapids.
Out of 131 applicants, ten startup teams from around the world were chosen – from Israel, Australia, New York, Texas, California, Delaware and Kansas and three from Iowa. Since August, these teams have worked 12 and 14 hours a day to build their businesses.
Hundreds of pitches, mentor match meetings and thousands of hours of customer discovery have prepared them for launch. Through that process they have laughed, cried, rebranded and pivoted to form new companies with incredible potential.
You have the opportunity to find out first-hand the progress these teams have made. Get to know the future employers of our economy, cheer them on and celebrate this milestone in the growth of Iowa’s startup and innovation community.
