Google to Host FREE Training for Small Businesses on Feb 12
Google is bringing its next free Iowa Get Your Business Online event to Cedar Rapids on Wednesday, February 12, 2014.
Currently, 66% of Iowa businesses do not have a website. As a result, many of those companies are missing out on opportunities for bigger business. Businesses which do have a website are 40% more likely to grow faster than other businesses without an online presence
Therefore, Google wants to change that with two 3-hour training sessions focused on developing a strong online presence.
You can sign up for the 9:00 am session or 1:00pm session.
Both sessions will cover:
- How to grow your business online – learn the basics of how other people find your business online, with methods like search engine optimization, web analytics, and more.
- How to create a business listing on Google – create your free listing to be found on Google.com search results and on Google Maps across devices.
- How to build your free website – build and publish your free website, and register for your free domain name.
