TriTECHta is Coming!

The Technology Association of Iowa’s TriTECHta is bringing 1,000 of Iowa’s technology industry leaders and innovators to Des Moines, April 9-10. The second annual TriTECHta features three marquee events: i2iowa, Prometheus Awards, and Pitch & Grow.

i2iowa, an Investors and Innovators forum, kicks off the two-day schedule on Tuesday April 9^th at 11:00 am at Veterans Memorial Auditorium. This investment conference showcases early stage companies from across the Midwest in the industry tracks of Information Technology (IT), Life and Bio Sciences and General Business. Attendees can connect and network with other innovative leaders, investors and regional entrepreneurs.

After i2iowa wraps up at 5:00 pm, the party starts upstairs as the Prometheus Awards get underway. In its eighth year, the Prometheus Awards are Iowa’s most prestigious technology distinction – honoring both companies and individuals who have shown outstanding leadership and excellence. The room will be filled with 700 of the most important leaders and innovators in Iowa’s tech industry. The awards celebration is expected to finish up around 8:30 pm, after which all attendees are invited to StartupCity Des Moines for TechBrew Off II, the official Prometheus after party featuring local Iowa breweries.

Finally, topping it all off on Wednesday, April 10^th, is Pitch & Grow XII. Entrepreneurs will pitch their business to a panel of experts made up of CEOs, CIOs, business development pros, and other industry leaders. Presenters will receive constructive feedback from the panelists in entrepreneurial topics, such as fundraising, business plan, sales and marketing, and business strategy. This is great place to get a first look at emerging businesses, and network with the industry pros that help take businesses to the next level.

The TriTECHta is an opportunity for the different regions of Iowa’s technology industry to come together, collaborate, and celebrate the past year of success. It’s the place to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and get excited about what lies ahead for the industry.
