Craig Downs, IowaMicroLoan
July 29, 2015 from Noon-1pm (central)
Webinar PowerPoint

craigwebinarJoin us for this webinar covering the IowaMicroLoan and tactics on how to get the funding for your business that you need. The IowaMicroLoan was established to meet a financing gap for start-up, expansion and refinancing of small businesses in Iowa. Loans of $5,000 up to $50,000 can be offered with six year terms. Additionally, up to $150,000 can be made available if a loan is done in partnership with a local bank. The program is designed to target small owners- e.g. those with fewer than ten employees.

The IowaMicroLoan program is highly unique in that it provides more than just flexible terms and micro financing opportunities. As part of the program, technical assistance grants of up to $500 a year to be used to help portfolio businesses grow. Additional benefits include access to local, regional, statewide, and online networks of micro-business development mentors, coaches, and professionals. Owners are given personalized training in developing financial plans to both improve their personal credit score and ensure healthy financial management of their firm.

What you'll learn from this webinar:
  • The IowaMicroLoan program financing opportunities
  • How you can get access to local, regional, statewide, and online networks of micro-business development mentors, coaches, and professionals.
  • How to receive personalized training to develop  financial plans
