This is the Entrepalooza kickoff, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., with keynote speaker Tal Dehtiar, founder of Oliberté Footwear. Oliberté is more than just a shoe or lifestyle brand. It is a commitment to the idea that Trade, not Aid, is the model for growth anywhere in the world. He projects to create 1 million jobs in Africa by 2025 in order to build a thriving economy there. Dehtiar was named one of the International Youth Foundation’s Young Social Entrepreneurs and one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business. The presentation will be held in in the St. Francis Center (Stark Student Center) at Briar Cliff. This free public event is hosted by the Eldon and Regina Roth Center for Entrepreneurship and Enactus student group at Briar Cliff University.
