Affordable Care Act 101 Overview Sessions

The U.S. Small Business Administration will hold an overview of the Affordable Care Act for small businesses in Des Moines still looking for basic information on ACA and what it means for their business.

The SBA’s District Office in Des Moines will hold two identical sessions; one on Wednesday January 28th and one on Wednesday, February 4th. Both sessions will run from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and will be held at the SBA District Office at the Neal Smith Federal Building, 210 Walnut Street, Room 749, Des Moines, 50309.

Open enrollment for ACA through the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) Marketplace ends February 15th. This session is designed to give small businesses who have not yet enrolled a basic overview of ACA and what those with 50 employees or less can do and what small businesses with more than 50 employees are required to do with regards to ACA.
