Get More From Gmail

It’s been a hectic afternoon, and you’ve been trying to keep up with your inbox full of client emails. As you quickly respond and hit send, you realize you forgot to attach that important document, and worse yet, you didn’t include your signature information either. It’s days like these when it would be great to have an undo button.

Fortunately, there is one. You just have to enable it.

Gmail actually has a gold mine of add-ons, called Gmail Labs. However, the add-ons are experimental and may break or disappear without notice. Like any entrepreneur knows, you’ve got to start somewhere and beta versions can sometimes be so close to the finished product that it’s hard to tell the difference. So while it sounds a little scary, Gmail Labs is definitely still worth checking out.

Search through quite a few different add-ons in Gmail like: Yelp previews in mail, right-side chat, quick links, Google Voice player in mail, auto-advance, custom keyboard shortcuts, and more!

To enable Undo Send and other add-ons:

  • In Gmail, go to the gear icon in the top right corner and click on “Settings”.
  • Once there, click “Labs.” Here you’ll be able to see the available labs or add-ons, and enable each one by checking enable.
  • Don’t forget to click on Save Changes at the bottom to apply your changes.

Have you tried any of these add-ons or know of other interesting Gmail resources? Let us know in the comments!
